HardwareOC has posted a comparsion review between the Super Orb and the Overclockerz Store Monster II.
The similarities between the Intel based CPUs and the AMD based CPUs stop at heat production and dissipation. AMD made processors are infamously known for their fragility and high heat output which requires damn good heatsinks to keep them cool. Also heatsinks that won´t crush them like Intel ones. When the Socket A CPUs first came out we already had some great Socket A boards to pair them up with ( Abit KT7-RAID and Asus A7V to name 2) but what about cooling devices? There seemed to be a large demand yet small supply of coolers good enough for these high end processors. Finally Alpha came out with their 6035 and Globalwin came out with their line of FOPRead more
coolers. Now I grant that Globalwin did make a good cooler ( FOP38 ) but what disappoints me is how many tries it took them to get there. After many mistakes they finally released something we could really use. Alpha rarely messes up in design and the 6035 is no exception.
