ADATA XPG Spectrix D41 DDR4-3200 32GB Memory Kit Review
A few months back, we had our first look at the XPG Spectrix series, with the Spectrix D40 DDR4. The main push for the new family of RAM, on top of the top-quality ICs, used and XMP 2.0 compliance, was a uniquely designed heat spreader with a lot of style, but more importantly to most was the inclusion of RGB lighting. Again we are dealing with Spectrix memory, but this time the script has been more or less flipped completely.Read full article @ TweakTown
AMD Ryzen 3000G APU To Release Before End Of Year
Earlier this year we saw AMD release the 2000G range of Ryzen processors. Overall, we were mightily impressed. For the first time in years, AMD seems to be taking an APU style approach to processors which was a fantastic idea given how high the price of a graphics card can be. The 2000G processors were relatively well received, but in fairness, went under the radar a little quickly.Read full article @ eTeknix
AMD does, however, have another trick up its sleeve. In a report via VideocardZ, the Ryzen series may see one final release before the end of the year. Namely the 3000G which will utilise their 7nm technology.
AORUS 16GB DDR4 3200 MHz GA-AR32C16S8K2SU416R RGB Memory Kit Review
First was Gigabyte then theres AORUS.Read full article @ Hardware BBQ
Since the dawn of AORUS branding, we see a lot of products we didn’t see traditionally from Gigabyte (or from G1 Gaming branding). PC cases, CPU coolers, peripherals, etc. There are SSDs, and now we have the RAMs. Naturally, with AORUS comes RGB effects on these memory kits but most importantly AORUS mentions Samsung B-die as the choice of memory ICs in its specifications list. For now, there are no sub-variants.
Cooler Master MasterBox TD500 Review
It was at Computex 2018 that we saw the first images of the distinctive MasterBox TD500 and gaining some attention it certainly did. In a market which is shy of unique models, the three-dimensional diamond cut-design found on the TD500 is definitely turns heads. This mid-tower not only offers good hardware support, an edge to edge side panel and radiator support, but it also arrives with four cooling fans - three of which are RGB LED ready!Read full article @ Vortez
Corsair RM850x (2018) PSU Review
Corsair may today be one of the largest companies in the PC market, offering literally hundreds of products, but that was not always the case. The company started off as a manufacturer of memory-related computer products and took them many years to even consider diversifying into other segments of the market. Their first significant diversification attempt away from RAM-related products was towards the power supply unit (PSU) market, with the company initially releasing just a couple of PSUs. That move was a great success for the company and the beginning of Corsair's expansion towards multiple segments of the PC market.Read full article @ Anandtech
Although the company today produces hundreds of products, they still place a significant amount of attention on their power supply products, with Corsair having not only one of the largest selection of products but excellent reputation in the field as well. The company today markets dozens of PSUs through nine different product series. In today's review, we are testing a unit of their most popular series, the RMx.
G-Drive Mobile USB-C Review
It is only a matter of time before all peripherals move over to USB-C rather than legacy USB-A or micro USB. Some external drive makers have been quicker than others. G-Technology has slowly been moving through their line, updating them with the new interface.Read full article @ Apple Insider
The latest is their G|Drive mobile USB-C portable drive. Let's check it out.
HyperX Gaming microSD Card Review
Last week, HyperX released a Gaming microSD Card series in North America aimed at mobile gamers who need additional storage space to store and play games. The HyperX Gaming microSD Cards are available in available in 64GB, 128GB and 256GB capacities and feature read speeds of up to 100MB/s and write speeds of 80MB/s. Read on to find out how it performed and more about the memory card!Read full article @ Legit Reviews
Kingston UV500 480GB M.2 SSD Review

MSI B450 Gaming Pro Carbon AC Review
The Pro Carbon moves away from MSI's typical black and red colour scheme, focusing on a monochrome design with Carbon Fibre accents. There's a small spattering of RGB LEDs around the motherboard, one section under the DIMM slots and the others peeking out from under the southbridge heatsink. We also find a full-length 110mm M.2 heatshield on the top port, to help improve NVMe performance by removing unwanted heat buildup.Read full article @ Vortez
MSI GE63 Raider RGB 8RE (i7-8750H; GTX 1060) Laptop Review
It's another laptop with an i7-8750H and GTX 1060 - is it worth £1380? The MSI GE63 Raider RGB 8RE’s name may be something of a mouthful but it does helpfully contain one key clue to this laptop’s most obvious features: RGB lighting. An RGB backlit keyboard and RGB slashes on the lid let you add your own colour scheme to this 15.6inch laptop.Read full article @ KitGuru
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Performance Unveiled, DLSS AI Anti-Aliasing Spikes Frame Rate At High IQ
This week at Gamescom 2018, NVIDIA held a GeForce Gaming Celebration to unveil its new GeForce RTX 2080 and 2070 series graphics cards, based on its new Turing GPU architecture. The NVIDIA GPU that powers GeForce RTX cards ushers in a wealth of new technologies, enabled by its new processing engines. These new technologies include hardware-accelerated, real-time Ray Tracing and a new form of anti-aliasing called DLSS or Deep Learning Super Sampling, among a few others we can't talk about just yet.Read full article @ HotHardware
What’s interesting about DLSS is that it uses Turing’s Tensor cores to enable a deep learning-powered AI technique to dramatically improve image quality and remove jagged edge artifacts in games, with a minimal performance hit. Traditional anti-aliasing, or AA, can lean heavily on GPU processing resources and memory bandwidth, and may consume large amounts of frame buffer memory as well. Anti-aliasing often requires a frame to be rendered and re-rendered multiple times in order to smooth out edges of objects in a scene and the end result can be a costly performance hit. NVIDIA notes that its new DLSS anti-aliasing technique, however, uses machine learning of scenes and images (called inferencing) to improve image quality without the large performance hit associated with some traditional AA methods.

Thermaltake Toughpower Grand RGB Sync Edition PSU Review
In addition to this, just in case that wasn’t enough, they also have a fantastically wide range suiting all needs be it low or high power, modular or non-modular and even the power efficiency ratings. One thing, however, that Thermaltake really like to push with their power supplies is their fantastic RGB lighting effects. Being one of the few companies to ever look into this technology on a PSU, they like to push it and push it hard.Read full article @ eTeknix
With this in mind, we take a look at the brand new Thermaltake Toughpower Grand Series RGB Sync Edition 850w power supply. While this isn’t the first power supply that Thermaltake has provided with RGB lighting (trust me – they have made a lot of them) this is, however, the first that incorporates RGB sync capability. With compatibility with MSI, ASUS and Gigabyte motherboards, they have also made sure to cover all of the bases.
While we do love a bit of RGB lighting, it is important to not overlook the fact that this is a gold-rated 850w power supply. Let us, therefore, put this under our microscope to see if this could be a fantastic option for your system.
