The Hardwire has released the first part of their article about building your own forums.

Everything here at THW is home grown. It is entirely authored by yours truly, and it was all done in one language, PHP (well, two, if you count SQL, three if you count HTML, four if you count JavaScript, and five if you count CSS). Everything, from the news to the about page, is dynamically generated by our PHP backend.

So why stop the trend? I have decided that the forums for our grand site will be done in the same way. This tutorial will document everything that it takes to make the boards, and what you can do to make your own.
