Asus ProArt PA32UC Review

Like a lot of professional monitors, the Asus ProArt PA32UC does not come cheap at $2,000. And yet, it could be the ultimate professional monitor and I don't say that lightly. Pro-grade monitors need to be top-notch quality to get a recommendation, and the PA32UC is packed with nearly every feature a creator might require for both SDR and HDR work.

Cooler Master Hyper 212 Black Edition Review

Its back, and this time its in BLACK ! If you have ever been debating adding an aftermarket cooling solution to a new system build, you will likely have come across a number of forum posts or discussions where one particular cooler is mentioned much more than others, and the cooler in question tends to be the Hyper 212. Primarily this is due to great price to performance along with a high level of compatibility. Cooler Master has continued to release updated versions or the Hyper 212 cooler which also means there are a number of options to choose from based on your preferences.

The most recent addition, the Cooler Master Hyper 212 Black Edition, as the name suggests features an updated clean black aesthetic, as well as a new included fan the Silencio FP120. Priced at £29.99 on paper it’s still a budget-friendly option but it will be interesting to see if its performance still lives up to the Hyper 212 name.

Party Hard 2 Review

This is the second in a series I hadn’t heard of until last week when Pinokl Games approached me with a review key. After no small amount of research, I discovered this bizarre style of game that I can only describe as a mash up between the latest and greatest of the Hitman series, and Hotline: Miami. A comparison of those two may peak your interest, as it should.

The RTX 2080 vs. the GTX 1080 Ti in VR

Less than two months ago, NVIDIA released its new Turing RTX 2080 which is a little faster than the Pascal GTX 1080 Ti in gaming performance. We naturally want to see how they each compare in Virtual Reality (VR), so we are following up with a five-game performance comparison measuring frametimes and unconstrained performance using FCAT VR.

BTR has a 25 VR game benchmark suite, but this editor has been unable to enter VR due to a long illness without getting VR sick since May, and we are just now easing back into it. Since we posted our original review, we have benchmarked many more VR games in our follow-up reviews over the past two years. We have even compared FCAT VR with our own video benchmarks using a camera to capture images directly from a HMD lens. For BTR’s VR testing methodology, please refer to this evaluation.
