Actionproof's Bozon Stand for Apple Watch is Quirky but Functional

Actionproof's Bozon Apple Watch stand is unique in a sea of Apple Watch accessories because of its unusual, quirky shape. It looks more like a toy or a modern art piece than a traditional stand, but it ended up being easier to use and more functional than some of the other Apple Watch stands I've tested.

Made from a soft black silicone, the Bozon features a pliable black palm-sized sphere-shaped top attached to four legs for stability. Like most Apple Watch stands, you need to supply your own charging puck, which fits into the front of the Bozon. The interior of the Bozon is hollow, allowing it to store excess cord.

Canon EOS-1D X Mark II Review

The wait is over, and Canon has unveiled its brand new flagship pro sports, action and press camera, the EOS-1D X Mark II. Keen Canon watchers have long suspected a new top-of-the-ranks model was in the wings, but it's only now that the specifications have become official. Even better, Canon invited us to a special one-on-one session to see the camera ahead of the official announcement. The EOS-1D X Mark II is a replacement not just for the original 1D X, but the EOS-1D C pro video camera too. In some areas it reads like a modest upgrade of the tech in the 1D X, but in others it breaks while new ground.Canon says the new camera's been developed following feedback from existing 1D X users, and what may sound like minor changes to the controls and layout can be a big deal for professionals who use these cameras day in, day out. We were able to try out the 1D X and 1D X Mark II side by side, and they are so similar it would be easy to get them confused, especially with the camera held to your eye.But the big news stories are the Mark II's amazing continuous shooting mode, its improved autofocus system and its 4K video capability.

ECS LIVA One Skylake mini-PC Review

The desktop PC market has been subject to many challenges over the last few years. However, the miniaturization trend (including the introduction of the ultra-compact form factor - UCFF - NUCs) has provided some bright spots. The recent introduction of the mSTX (5x5) form factor has provided yet another option between the NUC and the mITX form factor for PC builders. Companies like ASRock and Zotac have been marketing mini-PCs based on mSTX-like custom boards for a few years now. ECS joined the fray in early 2016 with the launch of the LIVA One based on a Skylake platform. Read on for our review of the pre-configured version of the ECS LIVA One.

Input Club Infinity ErgoDox Ergonomic Keyboard Kit

Almost exactly one year ago I sat down and took a look at the original Massdrop ErgoDox kit. A few months after that Massdrop in combination with what would later be called Input Club announced that they had been working on a completely new designed called the Infinity ErgoDox. It’s important to note that the original ErgoDox was originally designed by Dominic Beauchamp aka Dox. Later the Geekhack and Deskthority keyboard community’s worked with Massdrop to provide a full kit. The ErgoDox isn’t exclusive to Massdrop but the specific design that I reviewed last year was. There are actually multiple places where you can put together your own parts or now even buy a pre-built model as well. The Infinity ErgoDox though is a new design based on the original but taking into account what they learned from the 60% Infinity Keyboard that Massdrop worked on with Input Club. The overall shape is the same but the Infinity ErgoDox uses a proper backplate and makes big steps forward with things like USB 3.0, NKRO, an LED screen, backlighting, and stabilizers. So today I’m going to dig into the new kit and see what it is all about, have a little fun building it all, then test out the new design and see how it compares to the original.

SilverStone Tundra TD03-SLIM Closed Loop Water Cooler Review

If you have been to a party or a get-together, then I am sure there were chips or crisps on the table, whichever name you prefer. There are so many options for flavors today, and if you head to Costco, there will be massive bags of them, too. Kind of a joke complaint from people to chip companies is there is too much air in the bags, which takes up potential chip real estate. My favorite are Pringles, who has mostly been able to avoid this complaint due to their container working a bit differently than a normal chip bag. Of course, companies do not just add some air for fun and laugh at how everyone complains, but people still buy their product. The air inside the bag is actually nitrogen, and it is there to keep the chips fresh, as well as working as a cushion against any damage the chips could take during transportation. I am sure we all do not want any damage done to the products we buy, so we can appreciate some effort put into the safekeeping of what we end up having in our house. Perhaps if you do not like excessive amounts of air in your chip bag, you might not like air cooling either. Today, we have a solution for you. The SilverStone Tundra TD03-SLIM closed loop water cooler. If you like water cooling and building in a small form factor chassis, this water cooler could be for you due to its slim design. Read on to find out if it performs well enough to merit its place in your PC build, kind of like how I like to have Pringles in my pantry at home.
