Overclocked Cafe has posted a review on the Thermaltake Socket 370/462 Volcano 7

The sensor is calibrated with preset fan speeds for given air temperatures in the immediate vicinity of the heatsink, as air coming off the heatsink mixes with the existing case air, the sensor measures this temp, and using the presets adjusts the speed of the fan to achieve a value that translates into a given CPU temperature. What this means in simple language is this, harder working CPU, higher fan speed to achieve the preset by moving more cool air through the heatsink. This seems to hold true from my experience over the last week, my temperatures never varied more than 6C loaded, unloaded, overclocked or stock OEM settings.
