Place 4 more nuts on the brackets and tighten each one down carefully. I tightened them diagonally from each other, kind of like you would the lug nuts on a tire. Tighten them slowly; I can't stress this enough. Just do a little bit to each one, that way your safe from cracking the core if you tighten one too tight right off the bat. The manual recommends you put 4 more nuts on top of the existing nuts you just tightened for extra security. I would recommend this as well. Never can be too careful with your processor, especially when your heatsink weighs around 4 lbs.Read more
