Something that we take for granted with Thermaltake coolers are the Fan Control units that they include with nearly all their heatsinks. The Venus 12 includes not one, but two control units, one for a free 3 1/4" drive bay and the second for a PCI slot. The rheostat and wiring is included in both so there is no need to disassemble one in order to use the other. A very nice touch. A third form of fan control comes in the form of a thermal diode. It attaches to the bottom of the CPU and at 20 C it will throttle the fan down to 2000 RPM while at 55 C, the fan will reach a speed of 5500 RPM.
