ADATA XPG Gammix S10 M.2 Solid State Drive Review

Like most companies out there ADATA now has a dedicated gaming line of products, which is their XPG line. One of the newest products in this line is the XPG Gammix S10 M.2 solid state drive. This small little drive with its flashy looks is available in 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB capacities. ADATA has gone with the Silicon Motion SM2260 controller teamed with Micron’s first gen 32-layer 3D TLC NAND. ADATA says this drive will have read and write speeds of 1800 MB/s and 850 MB/s respectively, so not the fastest drive out there, but is definitely faster than your normal SATA III SSD. ADATA also backs the drive with a 5-year warranty so you know it is going to last a while. Let’s jump in and see what this drive can do!

ASRock X299 Taichi XE Intel LGA 2066 Motherboard Review

Recently we had tested on OCinside.de the X299 Taichi High-End motherboard from ASRock and today we want to see the latest ASRock X299 Taichi XE in comparison. ASROCK X399M TAICHI (AMD X399) Motherboard Review

Today is the day we review our first micro-ATX X399 motherboard, and it's the first of its kind on the market. While the motherboard does utilize the smaller micro-ATX form factor, it still maintains all the platform's many features and even adds a few extras for fun. Overclocking features are still maintained, and overall quality doesn't seem to have taken a hit. Many vendors have opted not to venture into the niche market of small form factor motherboards, but ASRock goes head first into these markets as we have seen with ASRock's Intel HEDT motherboards, so let's see what they have for AMD's HEDT platform.

Today we’ll be taking a look at the GEIL Super Luce RGB DDR4-3000 16GB Memory Kit. These memory modules are literally identical to the GEIL Super Luce DDR4-3000 (blue LED) which we review last year. This time however it’s fully RGB and supports Asus Aura Sync.

According GEIL, the Super Luce RGB SYNC Series offers a combination of high performance and seamless RGB lighting effects from the motherboard, graphics card and LED lighting strips. The memory kits come in stealth black or frost white heat spreaders.

IceMan Ryzen Threadripper CPU Water Block Review

IceMan Cooler is not exactly a well known name in North America, but in December we had a few folks ask for a review of its Threadripper water block, so we reached out, and IceMan sent us its water block. Everything looked great till we tried to use it. And of course being able to use it is slightly important, if you want to cool your Threadripper.

ceMan's online presence does not exactly inspire confidence. Its retail site, IceManCooler.com notes its latest news being from 2013, but it does show a couple of updated product categories as you can find a GTX 1080 GPU cooler listed. We ended up being successful in making contact using its Facebook page and IM. There is even a video of this Threadripper block in all its Frag Harder Disco Light glory. Whatever may be the case, IceMan does not seem to exist on marketing, but rather word-of-mouth from what we can tell. And going through the photos on its Facebook page, it does some visually impressive work to be sure.

We did our unboxing and breakdown back on January 9, and we got to testing right after that, and started running into issues immediately. More on that later.

Intel SSD 600p Series 512 GB Review
