A thief who creeped into Microsoft's campus in Silicon Valley nicked five iPads but left Microsoft products untouched, police have said.

From Silicon Republic:
More than US$3,000 in Apple products - two iPad 2s, two iPad 3s and a fourth-generation iPad - were stolen from three offices in Microsoft’s research and development complex in Mountain View, California, over the holidays.

Microsoft believes the crime took place between 19-26 December, The Register reported, and police are waiting for CCTV footage from the campus.
