Most manufacturers of flash memory have made the easy jump into the flash MP3 player market. With the majority of the hardware already in place, it is usually just a matter of putting it all in a nice package, working out an interface, and keeping the price down. Transcend has done exactly that with their T.sonic line of flash MP3 players. This line mixes interesting design with affordable prices, the combination of which should make up for Transcend's lack of brand recognition and marketing clout. The T.sonic 310 is a player which is clearly based on the iPod Shuffle and is meant to compete with it.
