chipset using H.Oda´s WPCREDIT program. Here a snip:

One problem that has plagued the Apollo Pro chipset´s from VIA is the memory performance. We have shown this in our memory findings as well. The problem will and has got better with new driver releases and new bios updates from motherboard manufactures. All the tweaks that can be done to the Apollo Pro chipset may or may not be implemented with these bios updates. This is where WPCREDIT comes into play.
