Dan's Data has put up a review on the USB/FireWire internal hub and Thermaltake HardCano III

If you want your PC to have that oh-so-popular wall-of-lights-and-switches look, then you've got to fill every visible drive bay with something.

I've just checked out two candidates in this area - a combination USB hub and FireWire repeater that fits in a 3.5 inch bay, and Thermaltake's new HardCano III combination drive mount adapter, digital thermometer and speed controlled cooling fan.

Both of these widgets will add complexity to the front panel of a PC. Which seems to be the main factor influencing the purchasing decisions of a significant portion of the market.

Fortunately, both products are also actually good for something.
