When it comes to the term “removable media,” a lot of different drive types probably come to mind. I mean, you’ve got your obvious ones, like the floppy drive, and the CDROM drive. Then, you’ve got Zip drives, tape drives, and more recently, flash drives (a.k.a. pen drives). In fact, about the only thing that normally doesn’t come to mind is a hard drive. That makes sense, right? I mean, why in the world would you want a removable hard drive?
