SubZeroTech has posted a new Review "Vantec Spectrum Fan Card".

An example of a crummy product that is often duplicated is the PCI-bracket fan. Traditional designs have a centrifugal fan that sucks air in and spits it out up or down in the PCI slot. In my experience these are ineffective and they breakdown frequently. I think I have owned three, all of which at some point ended up becoming very loud with questionable results. The idea is good: I like the part about sucking in cooler outside air. As a matter of fact current ATX cases just are not designed to get cool air to the most important parts. And in the meantime we have these inter-case areas that are just plain dead. They don't have new cool air coming in, and they don't even have stale air circulating. This is where Vantec stepped in and made a dual fan PCI bracket cooler device. The device takes air from below the bracket and pushes it up from the base of the housing.
