When a new technology emerges on the computer scene doesn’t most expect it to be the greatest thing since sliced bread? From the eyes of the manufacturer, yeah they believe it to be. However, from the eyes of consumers, we are misled very often. The most recent technology that has not taken off like planned but has picked up over time is the Pentium 4. With its debut in November the price was too high and did not out perform its competition, even when the competitor was 300Mhz lower, and is still struggling today. This somewhat holds true for the new GeForce 3 from NVidia. The GeForce 3 has a high sticker price but has an edge over its competition, however it’s not much.Read more
