3dfx sent the Adrenaline Vault four screenshots designed to showcase the visual quality of its upcoming Voodoo5 3D graphics accelerator. In order to preserve the integrity of the image, 3dfx does not allow any alterations, including thumbnails. Therefore, the four screenshots are available in TGA format and contained in a 700K zip file. Included are two 640x480, 32-bit color screenshots of LucasArts´ pod racing title, Star Wars: Episode 1 Racer, and two of NBA 2000. The company is demonstrating its VSA-100 chipset, on which the Voodoo4 and Voodoo5 will be based, at the Game Developers Conference in San Jose, Calif.
