Inno3D GeForce GTX 580 OC edition Review
The Guru of 3D posted a review on the Inno3D GeForce GTX 580 OC edition video card

We review the Inno3D GeForce GTX 580OC. Despite a very high price tag the product seems to become a nice success. As such directly at launch several models based of this SKU where already announced, e.g. the regular clocked models, factory higher clocked models, liquid cooled models.

This OC edition, in particular this is a reference GeForce GTX 580 that has been clocked faster to 820 MHz on the core where it also welcomes a nice bump on the overall memory frequency.

Psyko Audio Labs 5.1 Gaming Headset Review
OCIA.net has posted their review of the Psyko Audio Labs 5.1 Gaming Headset

Many people have a home theater system for watching movies in surround sound. HTPC owners aside, few by comparison have a similar setup for their computer however. The basic 2-channel or 2.1-channel remain the most common speaker systems for home computers. Psyko Audio Labs introduces a 5.1 surround sound headset, in what they have coined as "the dawn of audio as a weapon" to improve positional awareness and reaction time for improved game play. Rather than placing multiple speakers in the ear cups they are located above your head, and use WaveGuides to direct the sound around each ear.

Noctua NH-C14 CPU Cooler Review
Vortez posted Noctua NH-C14 CPU Cooler Review

The name itself describes what we can expect from the cooler, the 'C' denotes that it's a C-type top down cooler and the '14' represents the size of the fans bundled with the heatsink. As is typical of Noctua, they have bundled two of their flagship and highly revered NF-P14 FLX fans with the NH-C14 to deliver high performance whilst maintaining quietude. The concept itself is not new since top down coolers used to be the norm before tower coolers entered the market, but they have endured the test of time and remain the ideal solution for Media Centres where low profile coolers can provide adequate cooling power in a small package. Compatibility is clearly an emphasis Noctua are taking to. Although bundled with two fans, they can be used in 3 different configuration modes depending on usage and available space inside a chassis; Dual fan mode, Low profile mode & High clearance mode. We will have an in-depth look later on in the review. As an evolution of the NH-C12P it will be interesting to see how the two fare against each other. Other features we can expect to see is compatibility with all recent AMD and Intel sockets, including the unique claim to being the first cooler to officially support the upcoming LGA1155 socket, and of course their NT-H1 thermal paste.

Arctic Cooling Accelero XTREME Plus VGA Cooler Review
Bigbruin.com has published a review of the Arctic Cooling Accelero XTREME Plus VGA Cooler

The GTX465 may run cooler than other Fermi-based graphics cards, but that doesn't mean you might not want to think about adding an aftermarket solution to cool things off even more. The Arctic Cooling Accelero XTREME Plus does an excellent job of keeping the GPU core very cool under fire, while also running so quietly that you'd never know it was running.

ASUS GTX 580 Review
OCC has published a review on the ASUS GTX 580 video card

The 10MHz improvement in base clock speed does offer up a small boost in games. However, ASUS was not going to let that be the only point of difference with this card and included its Smart Doctor utility to get the most from the GTX 580. By utilizing this utility and tweaking the voltage, I was able to increase the clock speed from the base 782MHz on the GF 110 core by 23%, up to 962MHz. On the memory, the scaling was not as dramatic, but still went up by 14% to 1140MHz. This allowed the already fastest single GPU in the market to scale well beyond what the reference card was able to deliver.

ASUS P8P67 Deluxe Sandy bridge mobo Preview
The Guru of 3D posted ASUS P8P67 Deluxe Sandy bridge mobo preview

In today's article we'll show you a very lovely offering from ASUS as we'll preview their upcoming P8P67 Deluxe Sandy bridge ready motherboard. This motherboard is using a 16+2 phases (digital) design cooled by two Guru3D blue'ish heatsinks. Of course features like SATA 6G and USB 3 are available as well, and guess what, the board supports SLI and Crossfire, albeit in a x8:x8 configuration.

There even is a 3rd mechanical x16 slot though that one is limited at x4 PCE lanes (still handy for a PhysX card). What's going to be big for this motherboard is that it does not have a BIOS anymore, at least not in the traditional way that we know it. This will be one of the first motherboards with the all new EFI BIOS.

8GB G.Skill Ripjaws 2000MHz DDR3 Memory Review
Benchmark Reviews posted a review on the 8GB G.Skill Ripjaws 2000MHz DDR3 Memory

The maximum speed officially supported by an Intel Core i3/i5 CPU is 1333MHz, and most will know too well that that even lower priced Intel H55/P55 Motherboards can support a 200 BCLK. If you like to dabble in the dark art of overclocking there are a few good reasons to choose a 2000MHz (PC3-16000) RAM kit. Firstly you have the options of lower voltage and tighter timings at lower speeds, and next you have the added benefit of higher memory bandwidth at the top speed. Last but not least though is the overclocking headroom, sure you could try to push your 1600MHz kit to 2000MHz but there are not too many kits that will do that, and you will certainly have to pay a premium. G.Skill have a broad range of DDR3 RAM from basic to extreme, today Benchmark Reviews will be testing the G.Skill Ripjaws 2000MHz CL9 Dual Channel 1.55v 8GB Kit (PN: F3-16000CL9D-8GBRM) priced at $209.99 for your reading pleasure.

Teufel CB 200 Review
XSReviews have a review of Teufel CB 200 speaker and amp set

Home audio and specifically PC sound, is always a bit of an oddball when it comes to the enthusiast. In the same way that high end gaming mice and keyboards are only appreciated when they've been experienced, so too is high quality sound. However, despite this even the most well versed and deep pocketed enthusiast can fall into the trap of not acquiring nice Hi-Fi kit for their PC or gaming centre.

Still, those that do will most of the time opt for a nice 2.1, perhaps 5.1 with the real cinema heads going for 7.1 or even 7.2. However, Teufel don't consider that number after the decimel to be so important, today giving us a peak at their CB 200 kit, an amped 2.0 pair of mids with incorporated tweeters. Let's see how they stand up to the patent pending XSR "listening with our ears" test.

KitGuru posted a review on the Asus EAH6850 Direct CU Overclock Edition

The AMD HD6850 was released just over a month ago and has been warmly received by critics and the public. We have already looked at boards from Sapphire, XFX, Powercolor and HIS and today the Asus EAH6850 Direct CU Overclock Edition is next in line for a thorough workout.

Like all of the best graphics cards, the Asus EAH6850 showcases a customised cooler and is supplied in a modest pre overclocked state.

Asus are also keen to focus on the ‘Voltage Tweak’ aspects of the card, to highlight the enhanced overclocking potential. With reduced thermal states and enhanced acoustics this looks to be well worth adding to our portfolio of 6800 series reviews.
