Prowise All-in-One review: for the classroom

Prowise is a dutch company that specializes in developing educational solutions. The Prowise Presenter software is being used in a great number of classrooms, mostly combined with touchscreens and tablets which the company develops itself, while outsourcing the production to China. Earlier, we looked at the tablet of this company, this time we will discuss the All-in-One PC which they introduced recently.

Prowise's Presenter software is completely optimized for touchscreen use and thus it's logical that the company offers compatible large-size touchscreens and tablets which have to function optimally with this software. Now, there is also an All-in-One PC in the range of products, of course with touch.

This computer, ordinarily called "All-in One", is available in a model especially for schools, with the Shape The Future version of Windows pre-installed on it, a Windows version which Microsoft offers for educational goals with an attractive license price. It is however also available with the 'Bing' Windows edition, which costs a bit more, but can be applied universally. At the time of testing, Windows 8.1 Pro was on it, but Prowise let us know that Windows 10 is naturally also available.

Rikomagic V5 4k Android TV Stick Review

Watching movies and series on a large TV screen and in the best possible quality is something I’ve liked ever since i can remember. For good or bad my generation grew up with VHS tapes and later on laser discs so unfortunately since high quality in movies and series is something that really started to be possible in the late 90's with the appearance of the first DVD players that wasn't really possible. Now it did take a while for the first Blu-ray and HD-DVD players to make their appearance after the DVD ones and make it possible for people to watch HD and Full HD content on their TV screens (that's history now since Blu-Ray won the Full HD race years ago / still have my HD-DVD players however) but after that things changed rapidly and so now not only do we have 4k hardware and content available but manufacturers are even working on bringing 6k and 8k hardware to the masses as well. For the V5 Rikomagic has used the latest Rockchip RK3288 Cortex-A17 ARM SoC (System On Chip / 28nm process) which features 4 cores clocked up to 1.8GHz along with the Quad Core Mali-T764 ARM 3D GPU clocked at 600MHz (supports DirectX 11, OpenCL, OpenCL 1.1, OpenGL ES 1.1, OpenGL ES 2.0, OpenGL ES 3.0, OpenVG 1.1), 2GB DDR3 RAM, 16GB of onboard storage and HDMI v2.0 (3840x2160 max resolution supported). Thanks to the above specifications the V5 has the ability to playback even 4k H.264/H.265 10bits encoded content without breaking a sweat (always according to Rikomagic). The V5 also comes ready with Bluetooth v4.0, Dual Band WiFi (2.4/5GHz - 802.11 b/g/n), Gigabit RJ45 slot (10/100/1000M), microSD card slot, two USB ports (Host/OTG) and support for a webcam (needless to say that the V5 also features keyboard and mouse support). Windows 10 build 10547: Everything you need to know

On September 19, Microsoft released yet another preview of Windows 10 (build 10547) to the Fast ring of updates for PCs. This release is the third build the software giant releases to Insiders and the one that shows more significant changes and improvements to the Start menu, Tablet mode, Lock screen, Microsoft Edge web browser, and more. Recently, we have also come across a few leaks that gave us an early sneak peek on the progress Microsoft is making. These changes will be included in the Threshold 2 update that is likely to roll out sometime in November. However, today we're going to focus on the changes that appear in Windows 10 build 10547 since build 10532. These changes give Insiders a better picture of what has been altered after they have upgraded from the official pre-release build that Microsoft rolled out back in August. Below you'll find the list with all the changes incorporated in Windows 10 build 10547: Windows 10 build 10547 Start menu As I have done previously, I'll begin with the changes in the Start menu. For the Threshold 2 update, Microsoft is working on improving the Start menu. Currently, users can have three columns of medium sized tiles, in build 10547 the software maker is allowing users to have a 4th column of tiles.
