The server applications Microsoft is counting on to boost Windows 2000 into the enterprise will not start trickling out until late summer, a company executive said Tuesday.
The seven server applications will begin rolling out with Exchange Server 2000, followed closely by SQL Server; the Internet Security and Acceleration Server, the follow-on product to Microsoft´s existing Proxy Server; and Host Integration server, said Stan Sorensen, group product manager of server applications at Microsoft, Redmond, Wash.
