Windows 2000 is noticeably more stable and easier to use than NT or even Millennium, boasting extensive tutorials, wizards, and tech support. Professionals, particularly those working at home and away from tech support folks, will appreciate the lack of crashes. And although Windows Me´s PC Health feature won´t come with Windows 2000 until at least a second service pack, due out later this year, it does boast built-in tech support that includes tutorials on security, printer setup, and how to connect to the Internet. Also, Windows 2000 runs well on laptops--something Windows NT couldn´t accomplish--making it a stable portable option, too.Read more
