Thanks Robert. Microsoft has released Windows Messenger 4.5 and MSN Messenger 4.5 Client Updates for Exchange 2000
Exchange Instant Messaging Service offers a simple way to communicate instantly over a Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) network. This complements e-mail similar to the way telephone service complements postal mail. It leads to faster communication and increased productivity among knowledge workers by providing a platform for ad hoc instant communication while also providing information about whether your contacts are present and available at their computers when you send them a message. Multiple contacts can join an instant messaging conversation, and all the messages that you send and receive during a session appear in a scrolling history pane until you end the session.Download
