TC Magazine has posted an article on the Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005 Presentation

Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005 is the 2nd version of the Media Center. One of the biggest and most important changes for the 2005 version is that it’s not USA-ONLY anymore. Since the original Media Center 2004 was a success in the USA, Microsoft decided that they wanted to release it for more countries. The 2005 version is launched in 12 different countries, each with their own localized changes like electronic TV guides and shops per country.
