At an unveiling this week in Hollywood, Microsoft chairman and chief software architect Bill Gates introduced the company's Windows Media 9 Series technology, formerly code-named Corona. Gates said the technology was the culmination of years of research and development designed to realize the true potential of digital media on the PC.
