Neowin reports that Microsoft has announced the first details of its new Xbox Music service, which will offer free streaming music for Windows 8 and RT, plus numerous services to Windows Phone 8 and Xbox 360
The service will also be made available for Xbox 360 owners starting on Tuesday and on Windows Phone 8 devices in the near future. Both will require a $9.99 monthly subscription. In addition to the streaming service, Microsoft will offer an Xbox Music Store for people to purchase and download songs.Xbox Music offers streaming to Windows 8, RT, WP8 & Xbox 360
The service will also have what Microsoft is calling Smart DJ to help create personal playlists. Microsoft states, "With unlimited skips and a view of the full recommended music stream, Smart DJ puts you in control of your Internet radio experience."
