Microsoft has announced that Xbox One owners who have the FXNOW streaming video app can watch the first episode of the new FX series Chozen one week before it debuts on the cable TV network.

There won't be a new game released for Microsoft's Xbox One for a few more weeks, but starting on Monday owners of the console will be able to check out the first episode of a new FX animated series before the rest of the world gets to see it a week later.

Xbox Wire reports that Chozen will debut on the Xbox One's FXNOW streaming video service on January 6th. The first episode won't be broadcast on the FX cable network until January 13th. The show is animated by the same studio that handles FX's super-spy satire Archer.
