Elite Bastards posted a review of XFX's GeForce 8600 GT Fatal1ty video card
We've already given away the major assets of the GeForce 8600 GT Fatal1ty in our introduction, so you probably won't be too surprised by what you see below - A passively cooled board, with a core clock speed of 620MHz (80MHz above reference speed) which also gives a shader core clock of 1355MHz, while the 256MB of memory on-board is clocked some 150MHz faster, at 850MHz.XFX GeForce 8600 GT Fatal1ty video card review
XFX's passive cooler is a pretty luscious looking affair, far more stylish and sleek than either of ASUS' recent passively cooled GeForce 8600 offerings. At the front of the board is a largish heatsink which covers both the GPU core and memory - This is attached via two heatpipes to the larger heatsink which hovers above both the top and rear of the board to dissipate that heat. Aside from the cooler, the PCB is as you'd expect from a GeForce 8600 GT, with no external power requirement and SLI support in the usual fashion.
